quote "no one ever got fired for choosing Microsoft"

I've been in this game long enough (my first mainframe was an NCR Century 200 in 1972) to remember the saying "no one ever gets fired for choosing IBM". Well, many years ago, Bill Gates reworded it.

You can't conduct a valid argument on the relative merits of Exhange/Outlook and Domino/Notes ... the former is pure junk. The argument has to be on the marketing technique, and there Microsoft is simply superb. So this whole thread should come back to the theme that it started out on - IBM marketing sucks!
